Hello Superior Friends!  I am running for re-election as your trusted Trustee!  In my first term, I am proud to share that we did some really great things and I am eager to continue delivering positive results for our community.  A few highlights from my first term.

We  dedicated and have since opened our very own Superior Township Library.

We have  installed crosswalks on MacArthur Blvd.  ensuring safe access to the library for our children and families

We designated 100% of the American Rescue Plan Act funds to the communities that were hardest hit in our township by providing impactful programs including:

• CLR Academy 

• WISD Trusted Parent Advisors

• Willow Run Acres

• Supported the Plan to Develop the Eastern Washtenaw County Recreation & Community 

• Sidewalk Repair Program

I supported the development of Garretts Space offering a space for young adults ages 18-28 with a place to heal while dealing with challenges related to suicide attempts.

The above are just a few of our accomplishments, and there is so much to be done which I am focusing on include: 

1. Ensuring our Parks and Recreation Department is able to fulfill the vision that resulted in the Board agreeing to acquire over 300 acres of land to add to our goal of land conservation known as the Rock Property.  The vision expressed by the Board was that this space will eventually allow for recreation and educational programs for our residents.  It is my intention to see to it that this happens!

2. We have built and are in the process of building additional non-motorized paths here in our township, however there is so much more that needs to be done to ensure the safety of our residents.  While we are in the process of developing a path from Bromley to Geddes Ridge, we still need to build out in the opposite direction from Bromley to Ridge Rd., which will allow safe access for children that walk to Southpointe Scholars.
   
   Additional walking path access on Prospect from Berkshire to Clark Rd would allow safe walking for our neighbors that we have all observed walking on what can be a very dangerous road.  

I understood the assignment that you entrusted me with and I take very seriously the important role of being a community leader that you can be proud of.  I hope that you will allow me the privilege of serving you for another 4 years!
