Transparency of Local Government

As a resident, it is most important that you have access to those that are serving you.  The Board of Trustees must be forward thinking, inclusive and accountable to the residents.  As a resident myself, it is important to know that our Board of Trustees is trustworthy and each member does their homework so that they can govern without fear or favor.  As your Trustee I will always be a independent voice and will continue to speak up when I believe that something is not right for our community. 

Safe and Just Communities

I believe in fostering safe and inclusive communities. This includes advocating for criminal justice reform, access to safe and affordable housing, addressing food deserts  in our community to ensure families have access to nutritious foods, better access to public transportation and ensuring we continue to support and expand opportunities to programs for the elderly, our families and our children.  

Sustainable Environment 

Our environment is a precious resource. The realities of climate change is evident and the time to act is now!  Superior Twp. is a unique and beautiful place to live because it offers a little bit of everything for everyone from beautiful open park spaces to serene hiking trails in our coveted nature preserves.  We must protect our spaces by supporting smart programs that will conserve our land, decrease pollution and protect our environment from the harms of climate change.
